Application Tips
- Prepare the surface — Grind or shot-blast concrete to open the pores and ensure proper adhesion.
- Apply your base coat — Roll on your epoxy or polyaspartic base coat at the recommended mil thickness.
- Broadcast the flake — While the base coat is still wet, broadcast Doka Flake evenly across the surface. For a full broadcast, apply until rejection (flake stops sticking).
- Scrape & vacuum — Once cured, scrape off any loose flake and vacuum the surface clean.
- Apply topcoat — Seal with a clear polyaspartic or epoxy topcoat to lock in the flake and protect the floor.
Tip: For a lighter, more decorative look, use a partial broadcast at 50–75% coverage. For a full-chip floor, broadcast to rejection for complete coverage.
